Chase Competition Daytona Prototype

Chase Competition Engineering based in Richmond, Virginia, is a Grand Am approved constructor for the Daytona Prototype. We received full manufacturing approval by Grand Am for our chassis and body work in 2003.

Our expertise in race car development, has been honed from many years of active

competition as drivers competing in various levels in National Motorsport competitions.

We have formed a talented in-house team of professionals who have expertise

in chassis design, chassis manufacture, aerodynamics, composites manufacture,

race engineering, race preparation and team management.

Priority of design was a critical component to increase chassis torsion rigidity with

minimal weight. Suspension geometry has been designed to obtain maximum mechanical grip with a composites bodywork design that is aesthetically correct and generates good

aerodynamic drag balance.

We have developed our chassis to accommodate different engine types allowing

customers maximum choice when considering the best race package available.
